SCA Meetup

Curious about the Society for Creative Anachronism? Looking to make friends who have the same interests you do?

Join this meetup to socialize with other SCAers and like minded folks. You can submit SCA, Ren Faire and related events to the calendar.

This is NOT an official SCA group. For more info on the SCA, visit www.sca.org.

From the sca.org website: The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our "Known World" consists of 19 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which may feature tournaments, arts exhibits, classes, workshops, dancing, feasts, and more. Our "royalty" hold courts at which they recognize and honor members for their contributions to the group.

"Hi, I'm Kim (or Kerridwen). I'm a lapsed SCAdian from Ansteorra (Texas). I'm trying to get active again in the SCA but I've found it's hard (weird) to start over in a new group. So, I thought I'd organize this to meet folks outside of events. "
